Hi, my name is Sam Meece-Potowski and I am a junior at Whitney Young Magnet High School in Chicago, IL. I have been studying Japanese since 2021 and I was recently accepted into the CIEE Global Navigator High School Abroad program.

I am excited to spend 4 weeks in Tokyo this summer improving my Japanese skills, learning about Japanese culture and becoming more of a global citizen.

I would be extremely thankful for your support in this impactful experience for me! Even $10 = a ticket to the movies with new friends or a day pass at a local climbing gym.
